Cristina Herrera Mezgravis is a writer and educator from Valencia, Venezuela. She graduated from Stanford University with awards in both fiction and nonfiction. She worked in tech and in college prep in Silicon Valley and in Lima, Peru. She currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and their cats, Lima and Austin. As an MFA candidate in Fiction at the Michener Center for Writers, Cristina is working on a coming-of-age novel about Venezuelan migrants. She writes both in English and in Spanish.
Cristina Herrera Mezgravis es una escritora y educadora que creció en Valencia, Venezuela. Estudió escritura creativa en la universidad de Stanford, donde le otorgaron premios en ficción y no ficción. Trabajó en tecnología y en educación en Silicon Valley y en Lima, Perú. Actualmente, vive en Austin, Texas con su esposo y sus gatos, Lima y Austin. Es estudiante de posgrado en ficción en el Michener Center for Writers, donde está escribiendo una novela sobre migrantes venezolanos. Escribe tanto en español como en inglés.
